Why can’t I upload my profile picture from my iPhone?

This is related to the file type. Since the iOS 11 update depending on an individual device’s setting, iPhones may save photos in HEIC format. After iOS 11 upgrade too, it is possible to make your iPhone capture photos in JPEG format, which is an acceptable file type for your GlobalMedID.com Profile Picture. To do so, change your iPhone settings to 'Most Compatible.' This will allow you to capture photos in JPEG or H.264 format by default.  Open your "Settings" app, and select Camera → Formats → Most Compatible. Selecting Most Compatible means that iOS will now save images in the JPEG format. Any pictures you take after making this change will save in JPG format and be accepted by the profile picture upload. Another option is to screenshot the image you'd like to set as your Profile Picture, as iPhones save screenshots as JPEG files automatically. Any image in your Screenshots album on your iPhone should upload successfully as a Profile Picture.
